I visited this restaurant with my family to try Persian food and had a very disappointing experience. When we arrived, I asked for help understanding the menu and the different dishes. Instead of giving a proper explanation about ingredients or flavors, the staff simply pointed at a few photos with little interest in answering questions. The attitude felt dismissive and unhelpful. Most importantly, I specifically asked whether a dish contained nuts because my 4-year-old child has allergies. As a parent, I need to be very careful about potential allergens, and I made this clear. I was told directly that there were no nuts in the food. However, when the meal arrived, I immediately noticed visible nut pieces mixed into the rice. This was not just poor service, it was a serious health risk. The lack of attention and care when answering such an important question is unacceptable, especially when it involves children and food allergies. I am very disappointed that the staff did not take this matter seriously and did not provide accurate information about their own menu. To other parents: if your family has allergies or requires special dietary care, I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.
Although there is a small dining area, the food is something very special that gives you the sense of Iran, I had kubideh kebab, I had different types of food here and O will be there again and again.
We had a great experience at Darband Express, and a big part of it was thanks to Amir at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, he was welcoming, professional, and very attentive. He handled everything smoothly, answered our questions with patience, and made us feel genuinely taken care of. His positive attitude and customer first approach really set the tone for our visit. Great service like this makes a huge difference thank you Amir for making our experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!
Loved everything at Darband Express! The tahchin was crispy and full of flavor, and the gheymeh bademjan was amazing. Great food, warm vibes, and super friendly service — easily one of my favorite Persian spots!
The food and the service was so amazing. The gentleman who runs the place is extremely kind. He introduced us to the Iranian drink Flixweed drink. He let us try and it was just amazing. The food was so fresh and juicy. Love it
