A very soothing place for tourists. Though, it is not in its original shape these days due to scarcity of water. But orchards around this serene place makes it all time favourite for visitors. Special thanks to locals for not spoiling it's beauty. Open channels which use to run from Urak are now covered to maximise its utility.

Beautiful place with rocky river way normally dried in winter. Have nice mountains we experienced a great snow fall here on 7th of jan 2022. Whenever hiring transport bargain them to take ahead of abshaar hotel usually they stop there but actual beauty is ahead after crossing that river way. You can walk to that place easily while enjoying landscape.

Wali Tangi Dam is a small dam in the Urak Valley in Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is situated approximately 20 km east of Quetta at an elevation of approximately 8,350 ft. The dam stores and utilizes fresh water from melting snows in the surrounding Zarghoon Hills, which are part of the Sulaiman Range. Enjoyed and experienced adventure of a life time. Also enjoyed visiting Apple farms and eaten fresh apples when passing Hanna Area. A maintained and controlled by Pak Army. So place is safe for picnics.

Nice spot to visit with family and friends. Bring food with you. It's a nice little community with lush green apple gardens. Parking is available. Mostly people make a quick spot here before going to wali tangi dam.
