This is a very clean restaurant with delicious Iranian food. We ordered the Vaziri, and it was very delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. The owners are very nice people, and they even brought us a cake for free after our meal. They served the cake with tea. You should definitely try it!
One of the best Persian restaurants in canada. We tried Vaziri which was so delicious. Also very friendly people, they also offered us free Cake and tea to celebrate freedom in iran.
After hearing of Taste of Persia from my family I decided to bring my friends for lunch. It was amazing. Inside was nicely decorated and clean, the service was friendly, and the menu had a nice selection. My friend had ghormeh sabzi, it was delicious, and I had the koobideh kabob. The rice was nicely cooked and served with tomato, hot pepper, tadik, and cilantro. Would definitely go again. Im so happy to have a great persian place in barrie!
I honestly don’t understand how this place has a 4.5 rating. To be fair, the food wasn’t completely inedible—we finished it because we were hungry—but overall everything was below average. The kebab barg was completely bland, and the kebab tursh had no trace of pomegranate or walnut flavor. The zeytoon parvarde was way too salty, and the mirza ghasemi was so bland with no garlic and none of the smoky taste it’s supposed to have. Portion sizes weren’t impressive either. Service was just as disappointing. To make it worse, they try to charge tax twice, and if you don’t notice, you end up paying extra for nothing. On top of all that, the food is overpriced for how bad it is. Nothing about this place stood out in a good way.
We went here yesterday after swimming in wasaga beach. It was good food. I thought it was bland. But were the one supposed to put salt in the food. They will give u shakers with 3 things on it, salt, pepper and one with sour spice. The sour spice that looks like tahini you need to put on top of the kabob. I ordered the beef kabob. Will come back again. Excellent customer service.
