I had a great experience with Pasargad Money Exchange. I purchased Canadian dollars by transferring the funds to their account in Iran, and they e-transferred the CAD to me in Canada. Everything was done smoothly and completely online. They were fast, professional, and very accommodating throughout the process. The exchange rate was also very good. Both gentalman seemed really nice when I arrived, as well as on the phone, iPhone 3 times prior to coming to the store and had said that I wanted to exchange a sum of Iranian Rials into Canadian dollars which they said they accept. After the first phone call data expressed they only take a certain amount per day and to call the following day which I did , they said yes please come in and after rushing there on transit, he counted out roughly over 16 million rials, he then offered me $20 in which I expressed I had looked up on multiple currency exchanges that 1 million miles had currently being around 32 Canadian, I had gone in expecting that I would receive less than the world exchange or even the exchange that every other place had listed in real time. He showed me a website that was not in English punch something in on a calculator and said see look $20 I then showed him on Google where I got my information to which he begin to get frustrated and said fine then take it somewhere else and said that his exchange was different than everyone else's.. I'd politely ask him just to show me where he got his numbers from so I could understand better not to be argumentative to achieve pretty well told me to go somewhere else and would not tell me why his rate was different.. I'm currently in a very hard place financially and I believe that he was trying to take advantage of me because he thought I was vulnerable or I didn't do my research first. I am just writing this for a warning to anyone else that from my experience I could see that this man was willing to try to take advantage of somebody who was not knowledgeable on exactly what they were trying to exchange as he got frustrated when I questioned him with logic. I would strongly recommend anyone avoid this particular Exchange, and I would also note that it is incredibly low to try to take advantage of someone who's vulnerable or going through a hard time simply because they know more or feel that their customer is not intelligent enough to understand or do their own research. Hope this helps someone else because I wasted half a day making it here and now I am in the even worse position than I was beforehand had I only not wasted my time. I would also like to know that all of the positive reviews I see happen to be people of the same descent, now I was born and raised in a Multicultural Society which I love and appreciate everyone and do not judge others in that fashion unfortunately I feel like this could have had a very great impact on our transaction myself being Caucasian I'd like to think people weren't that ignorant in this day and age but just a thought based off of the facts in front of me. I do not judge others based off of the language they speak or the things they believe I would like to think most people in this beautiful country we're the same unfortunately that is not the case all the time Thank you for reading
Yesterday I made a new purchase at Pasargad Exchange. I must say that the people working there are very polite and personable and they are very customer-oriented. The price was good and the atmosphere was great.
