A couple of days ago, we passed by NIK Persian Restaurant and noticed it was packed with customers. I told my husband we had to try it because we really love kebabs and we finally did tonight! We had a fantastic experience. The food was flavorful, the portions were huge, and everything tasted amazing. We ordered the special lamb neck/shank and my all-time favorite, Kobideh kebab. We were so full and completely satisfied. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and very accommodating, and the guy behind the kitchen was great too (he knows some filipino languages too). Bravo to you! 🤗 Highly recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely be coming back again, next time with friends! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing experience. Authentic Persian flavors everything fresh and perfectly cooked, especially the ash and tender shank. They also offer fresh Iranian desserts and confectionery, served with traditional Persian tea. Very warm and hospitable service, generous portions, and great for groups. Definitely one of the best in Regina worth trying if you want to explore Persian cuisine

Persian cuisine is very new to me so when I heard about Nik, I wanted to try it out. After being seated, they brought out a cup of tea, which felt very hospitable. They kept making sure I was hydrated by asking if I wanted more tea, or water. That was very sweet! I wasn’t certain what to order, so I asked the waitress and she recommended the Vaziri. The Vaziri Kebab ($23.99) consisted of two grilled Kebabs with saffron rice — One chicken breast skewer and one ground beef + lamb skewer. I’m always worried when ordering chicken at a restaurant that it would be dry but it was tender and juicy. The beef + lamb skewer was the same. Both skewers were umami and savoury, and the lamb and beef flavour was perfectly balanced. They were generous with the portion of rice! So much that I had leftover rice for two more meals. It was coated with some oil, which is different than what I’m used to but enjoyable. I liked the grilled tomato, providing a little acidity to the dish as well. For dessert, I got a piece of Napeloni ($2) — Light, flaky layers of puff pastry filled with whipped cream. It was a nice way to finish off the meal with a light, not too sweet dessert. They had a handful of desserts on their menu but only the Napeloni and Cheesecake were available. Hopefully next time I can try their Baklava.

Tried the chicken kebab and koobideh at Nik Restaurant today, both were really tasty and well-cooked. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the koobideh was soft and fresh. The place was clean with a nice, relaxed vibe. The staff were polite and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, a great spot for Persian food. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend others to try it.

Food was flavorful and prices were very reasonable. Was my first time trying Persian and the food was not spicy at all. I think they went a little light on the meat on the Ghormeh Sabzi I had but since I'm not familiar with how it's normally prepared maybe this is how it's supposed to be made. They definitely didn't skimp on the rice thiugh. Staff were accommodating, food to the table was reasonably quick and I appreciated them not cranking up the music too loud for a birthday party near us. The restaurant is pretty small so if you come when it's very busy you might have a bit of a wait. Ask for a reservation ahead or do pickup instead. Overall a good restaurant to check out if looking for something different for cuisine.
